At the Impact Fair NL Community Kick-off, Jessica shared her expertise with a community of changemakers gathered at the Social Impact Factory in Amsterdam. Organized by Better Together Agency, this inspiring event focused on advancing sustainability through impactful connections and knowledge sharing.
Jessica delved into the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), illustrating how data can tell a compelling story and serve as a powerful tool for driving meaningful decisions within organizations. She covered key topics, including double materiality, practical CSRD applications, and real-life examples of the EU taxonomy, offering attendees actionable insights for embedding sustainability into their business strategies.

Webinar Naris: Navigating ESG Risk Management
Jessica teamed up with Erik van Marle, CEO of Naris and risk management expert, to explore the critical components of ESG risk management in an engaging webinar. Together, they delved into why ESG risk management matters for organizations and offered practical strategies for effective implementation. This session provided participants with actionable insights on measuring, reporting, and enhancing environmental, social, and governance risks. Article VDH Bestuurszaken: ‘Expert aan het woord Jessica Boekhoudt’
VDH Bestuurszaken, a Dutch organization focused on supporting boards of foundations and associations, invited Jessica to share her sustainability expertise in honor of the Dag van de Duurzaamheid (Day of Sustainability). In her article, Jessica offers insights into sustainable strategy, focusing on the importance of clear priorities, reliable data, and sector-wide collaboration. She highlights actionable methods, including Double Materiality Analysis, to help organizations prioritize impactful sustainability practices.
Workshop Flynth: CSRD in practice
During Flynth’s event ‘CSRD in de praktijk,’ Jessica led an engaging workshop focused on integrating sustainability into the supply chain. Following insightful sessions by other speakers, Jessica delved into critical questions such as: How deeply should companies engage with their supply chain? How can they meaningfully involve stakeholders? And what are the implications for SMEs? Participants gained practical tools, explored key strategies, and engaged in a dynamic exchange of ideas, all aimed at navigating CSRD requirements effectively.
